FENCE FIX FOR INVISIBLE FIXING USING SIGN CHANNEL
The original Fencefix was designed specifically for quick and secure installation
of signs to fencing but it meant that your fixings would be visible on the face of
the sign, as the bolt needed to be screwed through the sign to attach it to the
Fencefix behind.
This edition of Fencefix now allows you to create an invisible fixing using a similar
principle to sign channel with aluminium clips but on fencing instead.
Simply apply sign channel to the rear of your sign using rivets or tape as usual,
screw the bolt supplied most of the way into the fencefix and hold behind the
fence, whilst sliding the channel of your sign onto the protruding bolt head at the
front of the fence. Tighten from the rear by twisting the fence fix. Apply the selflocking nyloc nut supplied to secure.
Supplied with a 25mm long bolt and nyloc nut.

Fitting signs to Palisade fencing
When Fence Fix is unsuitable you can fit to Palisade fencing by using self drilling screws through the signage and fence.
A method to avoid visible fixings, using our Sign Channel can be found below . . .

Prepare panel with channel, cut
and drilled flat bar and M8 nuts,
bolts and washers

Place the washer under the nut and
tighten to hold the panel in place

Slide the bolt heads into the channel,
place the sign against the fence and
position the bolt heads
Position the flat bar over the bolts on
the other side of the fence as shown

Repeat the process with the bottom
run of channel to secure your sign
