BRASS LOCATORS - HEAVY DUTY
Brass heavy duty locators offer the option of a mechanical
fixing to the sign which will ensure a reliable fixing for
years, particularly when mounting heavier or larger than
usual panels or displays.
Easy to remove and refit for periodic decoration or
maintenance - they will not detoriorate or snap.
Type A Screw Fixing
Type A Measurements
These fixings are most suitable when the letter or
panel is over 12mm thick, e.g. thick foamex or wooden
products, as the male threaded part can be screwed
directly into the back to give a strong connection.

If you wish to use them on thinner materials (like 5mm acrylic letters), the
best way to get a good fixing is to make 15mm - 20mm clear acrylic blocks
which you bond onto the back of the letters with a suitable adhesive, like
Hypersol 12. You can then screw the male threaded parts directly into the
