3M ™ primer 94
3M™ Primer 94 can be used to promote adhesion of 3M™ tapes and any brand of
self-adhesive vinyl to low energy surfaces such as polyethylene, polypropylene,
ABS, PET/PBT blends, concrete, wood, glass, metal and painted metal surfaces in fact any surface that is difficult to get vinyl adhesive to adhere to.
• Can also be used to improve vinyl adhesion where vinyl will be stretched or heated
into concave areas and can be used on complex vehicle contours when using 3M™
Controltac™
• Works best with 3M™ Controltac™ but can be used on other brands of vinyl with
lower tack adhesives (it is not recommended for use with Avery or Oracal vinyls as
these already have a high tack adhesive)
