about the distance
of the width of a
credit card from
the opening of the
blade holder. Test
for the proper depth
setting by holding
the blade holder
and manually trying
to cut through two
sheets of paper. You
should only be able
to cut throught the
top sheet.

Customers sometimes complain that their brand
new plotter blade is getting dull quickly. Often
it’s not the blade, but adhesive from the vinyl
collecting on the blade itself.
Cleaning the top of the blade with Isopropyl
usually corrects the problem.
